Description
The Ghioroc Lake is located at the foot of the Zărand Mountains, 22 km away from the city of Arad. The lake has an area of 66 hectares and a depth of 10 meters. The lake has a landscaped sandy beach and is one of the main tourist attractions in the area. Apart from swimming and relaxing on the beach, one can also fish. Fishing is allowed all year around and everywhere on the lake. The most common species of fish that can be found here are carp, catfish, crucian, rudd, roach and bream.
