In 1937 G. Şandru and M.I. Nicoară carved in gray granite the plinth and the cross , laying them on a high foundation made out of concrete and stone. Under the military insignia are inscribed the names of 30 heroes of the First World War . The monument is painted in brown, white, black and yellow.
