In the park that is adjoining the road to Sebiş, functions the village museum structured on the sections: ethnography, paintings and archeology. The artwork in the museum date starting from the second century B.C. - fragments of ceramic from Dacia, discovered on the Sângioara hill, a collection of fossils and local minerals, farm tools and old furniture dating from the seventeenth century, traditional clothing that are remarkably old and the piece de resistance which is represented by the "flowery sheepskin coat" which is emblematic in Buteni village.
The Museum from Buteni also owns a beautiful collection of paintings belonging to some remarkable painters, citizens of the Buteni village: Moţ Simion, Veselina Clepea, Petru Lucaci, Dan Miculiţ etc.
